How To Start
Drop-ins are always welcome! If you are new to yoga, we recommend taking an Intro to Yoga Series. You can also take Beginning Yoga, Gentle Yoga and other classes that are appropriate for beginning students. Click here to view the schedule.
Wear clothing that is comfortable to move in and that keeps you appropriately covered.
Please plan to arrive at least 10 minutes early to fill out a new student form and get acquainted with the studio.
Students are encouraged to bring their own mat.
Please refrain from wearing fragrances as many people are sensitive/allergic. Mind personal hygiene and consider bringing a towel for more vigorous classes.
Remove your shoes upon entering the studio.
Turn off all electronics. Place your cell phone on silent or airplane mode instead of vibrate, turn it off or leave it at home.
Enter and settle in quietly. Minimize conversation or be silent before class. The few minutes before class are ideal for a short meditation and for setting an intention.
If you are waiting outside while the previous class is finishing please keep your voice low or talk outside of the entryway.
If you are late and arrive during opening meditation, please wait quietly until it is over to begin setting up your mat. Plan to be in class at least 5 minutes early so that you have time to set up and be prepared to begin class on time.
Clean up your immediate area and replace any borrowed props neatly where you found them. If your sweat has puddled on the floor, please take the time to clean it up. If you borrowed a mat hang it up in the back of the studio using one of the dowels provided.
Please remember to sign in and pay without having to be asked.
Make room for people coming in. This is very helpful when classes are full. Our space can accommodate 45 mats!
